Charity show hosted by WPT SWANSEA.

Tate Bateman fought on this bill and showed his determination to become a muay thai warrior. All junior fights on this night were agreed to have no decisions given. However all fought hard.

Matt Gough from our gym went on to fight Smithy from WPT Swansea and won after the WPT fighter refused to come out for round 4 following an end of round 3 knock down. Respect to Smithy who by Matt's account "kicks hard".

Yet another good show from our friends at Eagles .

27/09/09 -- Full contact show Eagles Gym Barry.

Our fighter Benji Williams is fighting for a Welsh Title at this event. 5x2 minute rounds .

Other fighters from our gym will be on the supporting bill fighting 5x 1.5 minute rounds.

Results for the above fights :

Benji fell to one of Jimpy's lethal hooks in the early stages of round 1. However, proving to all that his jaw is definately not glass Benji got up and carried on to take the fight to the full 5 rounds. Both fighters fought their hearts out and it was an excellent bout.

Jimpy won the bout on points and became the Welsh title holder - congratulations Jimpy.

Well done to Benji - you did us proud in there and earned the respect of all fighters by getting up from that hook and being able to carry on the fight!!

Marc Dowse also fought on the show . Result - lost on points. Good close fight with both fighters working hard, and Marc having injured his right foot in round 1. Well done lads.

29/08/09 -- Seminar with Juk ( 3x Southern Thai Champion.) To be held at JCB GYM.

A very productive day with all those students present taking away something of benefit to them. Juk was extremely professional and demonstrated his muay thai skills well, before coaching the class. Everyone was amazed how fast and strong this man was despite being only 52 kgs in weight. We hope to see more of him in the future. -- Thank you JUK.
